Jennifer Kincaid was appointed as chief of staff to the executive VP of academic affairs and director of policy administration at Indiana University in 2008, and became chief policy officer in 2014. She coordinates the university-level process for developing and approving policies. She manages new policy initiatives with broad impact across multiple campuses and provides structure and materials for policy reviews. She is responsible for the IU office of policy administration which administers the database and website for university level policies, facilitates the Policy Advisory Council, and assists with planning for policy drafting and communication. As part of the office of university academic affairs, she supervises executive level searches and reviews. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American studies and business from the University of Notre Dame and a law degree from Fordham University.
