Danyele Green joined the office in 2010 after serving for three years in the office of University Student Services and Systems. As the Assistant to the Executive Vice President and Administrative Coordinator, Danyele handles the busy calendars of EVP Applegate, CoS Sarah Booher, and assists with several AVPs as needed. In addition, she oversees the operations of the Institutional Naming Committee, which handles the naming process for organizational and physical structures at every IU campus across the state.
Danyele earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology, minoring in Psychology, in 1996 from IU Bloomington. She then spent 14 years in the optical industry, including working at IU Eye at Carmel as part of the IU School of Medicine Ophthalmology department. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her husband and many dogs. In addition, she is the Fundraising and Volunteer Coordinator for Our Lil’ Bit of Heaven Animal Rescue & Sanctuary and spends many hours on various boards of local caving organizations, such as the Bloomington Indiana Grotto and Indiana Karst Conservancy.
