Academic Affairs

The Office of the Executive Vice President for University Academic Affairs (OEVPUAA)  promotes and supports the academic mission of Indiana University with the objective of enhancing the university’s commitment to excellence in education, research, and community engagement, as stated in the mission, vision and operating principles of UAA.

University Academic Affairs (UAA) represents Indiana University's interest and maintaining ongoing relations with the Indiana Commission for Higher Education and other partners in the state of Indiana.

University Academic Affairs encompasses a large team of talented people who manage a wide variety of university administrative responsibilities—from academic affairs and faculty relations, to regional campuses, to public safety and strategic planning, to student systems, and institutional data. Their work ensures that IU fulfills its promise to the state of Indiana to provide superior education to Hoosier students and to better the lives of all Hoosiers, the nation, and the world. Faculty, staff, and students across all of IU’s campuses contribute to and participate in the life of their communities and make Indiana University vital to the success of our state.
