Stephen L. Keucher was appointed associate vice president in the Office of the Executive Vice President for University Academic Affairs (OEVPUAA) in January 2011 and is now Associate Vice President for Administration in that office. Prior to this appointment, he was Associate Vice President and Indiana University Budget Director.
Steve earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and classical studies from IU in 1972. Having returned to Bloomington for graduate school in 1980, he joined IU in the University Budget Office in 1982 upon completion of his M.B.A. from IU. During his career he has been involved in institutional research and reporting, decision support and data stewardship issues, responsibility center management development and related systems and processes, budget planning and administration, and has served as a liaison with state agencies. Steve has led and served on numerous task forces and committees. He has been the manager of the regional campus Blueprint for Student Attainment and deputy director of the Student Services Initiative project. He provides oversight in administrative matters of the regional campus and within OVPEUAA.
